If you have more, please feel free to Contact Us!

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located at a great location in San Rafael near Northgate Mall, Civic Center, Autodesk, and easy access from highway 101.

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Our schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except for certain holidays during which we are closed.
We offer flexible weekly schedules that meet each family’s needs, including full time 5-Days a week, or any combination of part time arrangements such as 2, 3, or 4 days a week.

Q: What age group children do you accept?

A: We accept children beginning with ages 3 months through 5 years old.

Q: Is your staff trained?

A: Yes, Morning Sun Childcare is required to follow state regulations that apply to training. All staff members are trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse. We also speak Chinese Mandarin.

Q: What types of foods are served?

A: We serve nutritious meals and provide organic fruits and vegetables as much as possible.

Q: Do you provide outdoor time?

A: Yes, Morning Sun Child Care is equipped with one area of outside play. The children have scheduled times in the morning and the afternoon to explore their outside world. They also spend time outside planting and gardening their own fruits and vegetables.

Q: Do you have pets in the house?

A: No, we do not currently have any pets in our childcare.

Q: How do you support breastfeeding?

A: Morning Sun Child Care strongly supports and promotes breastfeeding. A private and quiet area for breastfeeding is designated at our school. All staff members are trained in handling and proper heating of breastmilk.

Q: What is your illness policy?

A: A cold with heavy runny nose, ear infection, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and wheezing will not be allowed at our childcare. If your child becomes ill, he or she must be picked up immediately. If we are unable to reach a parent, we will call from the emergency list. Please see separate Health Policy Sheet.

Our goal is to have a healthy and happy childcare. When he or she is ill, it makes it harder for the other children, my assistants, and me to run the childcare.
